Year 12 Chemistry Practical

Y12 chemistry students burned alcohols and other fuels such as paraffin to compare how much energy each gives out per gram. As the planet’s energy needs increase, chemists need to find the most efficient fuels that satisfy demand but also minimise the use of carbon-based chemicals.
