There are lots of other ways to get involved with our school community online:
Our new Facebook page www.facebook.com/thecomptonschool has gone live today! This platform will be used to share students’ photos, videos and work and will also contain important daily notices and update. Please like our page!

We also have a highly active Twitter feed @thecompton - please follow us for the latest whole school news and updates. More recently, @ComptonHistory is a new Twitter set up by the History Department to display and celebrate the diverse history that exists within the department, wider school staff and students. Using the hashtag #myhistory, both teachers and students alike will be able to get involved and share their personal histories online.

On Instagram you will find our Design Technology Department @thecomptondtdept which shares challenges for students to get involved in, as well as students’ creative endeavours and lots of lovely food photos. @comptonsixthform is the official account for our Sixth Form where students and staff share content alike. @thecomptonart is a beautiful account that shares students’ artwork and inspiration.

Students can also get involved and have a voice on The Compton School Podcast led by our very passionate Podcast team.

Finally, subscribe to our school Youtube channel The Compton School to watch weekly assemblies and school tours/updates. Numerous departments have also got involved: The Compton School PE is a Youtube channel that has sporty challenges for students from across the department. Music frequently share performances and tutorials online so that students can develop their musical ability outside of school.

I am excited about the many opportunities these digital platforms provide our school and students and encourage our entire school community to like, follow, subscribe and get involved!
