Summer School Project

This week we were pleased to welcome our new cohort of Year 7's to our Summer Project led by Bigfoot Arts Education.

Day 1 involved students completing the 'Big Steps' programme within their Tutor Groups in order to confront, discuss and challenge the emotional, psychological and practical implications involved with ‘moving on’ and transitioning from primary into secondary school.

On Day 2 students devised their own short play, using any issues discussed on Day 1 to create scenes and images that demonstrate what starting secondary school means to them. The performances were absolutely brilliant - well done!
