Another week of fixtures has come to a close with a range of year groups representing The Compton School in multiple different sports.The year 8 boys football team started off the week with a 3-0 win against Wren academy where the boys showed great team spirit and sportsmanship throughout.

The year 11 football team played a close match against Ashmole and unfortunately lost 2-1.

The girls year 7 football team (pictured above) played their first match together against Ashmole School and won 1-0 with Zainab scoring thewinning goal and Aida not letting any goals past her. The girls worked well together and were so supportive of one another throughout.

The girls year 8 and 9 team also played their first match of the season against Ashmole School. The team haven't been able to play together yet but despite this their communication was strong throughout and they adapted effectively to suit each others strengths and weaknesses.
