Year 13 Geography - Trip to Slapton Sands, Devon
Posted on: 25/10/2021Last weekend, our Year 13 Geographers took the long drive down to Slapton Sands in Devon. Students were conducting a wide variety of independent geographical investigations in and around the area over their four day trip as part of the coursework element of their A Level.
During the trip, the students investigated the impact of storm events on coastal defences and looked at the changing character of Totnes, the first transition town in the world.
The below photograph was taken at Start Bay Point, just before the students hiked the coastal path to Torcross.
