Faraday Challenge Day

Last Friday, our Year 8 students took part in the annual Faraday Challenge Day, run by @IETeducation and supported by The Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management @IHEEM. Working in teams, Y8 students were tasked with designing, building and presenting a prototype for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. Team 6 were awarded 1st prize for their prototype and presentation on the day and have been added to the national league table.

Well done, Taya (8T), Alfie(8H), Melina(8T), Deen(8H), Olivier (8H) and Teo(8S). They formed the winning team—an excellent demonstration of engineering skills.
