Science Club

Last Wednesday in Science Club we looked at the science behind fireworks. Fireworks are colourful chemical reactions that make a stunning ariel display. We used various chemicals to change the colour of our Bunsen flames.

A Level Biology Talk

The Talk focused on 7 key themes discussed were:

  • Where did his journey to medicine start?
  • What was his school / sixth form experience like in your route to medicine?
  • What happened after you left sixth form?
  • What was studying abroad like?
  • What did it feel like to finally graduate?
  • Your experience of being a doctor in the UK? (Including how was it moving back, getting a job and how are you finding it now?)
  • What do you want your career to look like - what does the future hold?

Thank you, Mr Fuller, for organising the talk on behalf of the science department and the Year 13 science students.
