Y9 Science - Spaghetti Tower Challenge

Y9 pupils used their problem solving and teamwork skills to build the tallest spaghetti tower that can support a whole marshmallow. Rather than a set protocol to follow and definitive results and conclusions, students had to plan, execute, troubleshoot, and evaluate their work. This gave them an insight into the real-life processes of testing that engineers use. Congratulations to Sebastian and Mateusz for building the tallest tower (64 cm high) and to Miya, Saffron and Amaya for building the strongest tower.
