Science - The Universe Project
Posted on: 05/05/20227T explored the wonders of the Universe by making a model of something present in space. We had some great 2D and 3D models of planets, black holes, stars and satellites. The winners were Piotr who made a 3D scale model of the solar system, Andrew who produced a 3D model of a satellite and Camille who did a 2D poster of the solar system.
The universe is magnificent, and it mesmerises us with its limitlessness. The planet we live on, the Earth, is part of the Solar System with many other planets. This project helped students make sense of the Sun and the planets that revolve around it, and it helped them understand and learn about the world they live in. They will be looking at this in more detail in GCSE Triple Physics.
