Science Club's Last Session of the Summer Term 2023: Field Studies

 In our last Science Club session (of the term), our curious and enthusiastic students undertook an exciting sampling adventure using quadrats and transects.

Future scientists ventured into the school field to observe and document the distribution and abundance of organisms. The quadrats provided a standardised method for collecting data and allow for accurate comparisons across different sampling sites.

Data collected through quadrat sampling enabled the students to draw  conclusions about the ecological characteristics of the habitats they studied.
