Handel House Opera Project

This term the Music Department participated in an Opera Project with Handel House.  This is now our 3rd time to be asked out of all of the Secondary Schools in London (2014, 2016 & 2019).  As a result of this wonderful opportunity the Y10 Music Class and some of the Y9s who have opted for GCSE watched a dress rehearsal of the Opera Semele by Handel at Alexandra Palace Theatre.  After this they devised their own Opera.  This included the Music and choreography.  The final performance took place on Tuesday 11th June, after 3 sessions of working with the composer-in-residence from Handel House and Opera Artists.  This was an amazing opportunity for our students.  Thank you and well done to you all.
