Year 8 First Give Charity Project

During their PSHE lesson, your child has recently been taking part in the First Give Program. The students have been thinking about social issues in our area and learning about charities and the work that they do. They will choose a charity and then support their chosen charities through direct social action, they will put together inspirational presentations in which they champion their chosen charity, the work they do and the class will vote on their favourite. 

There will be one presentation per class presenting at the School Final, one of which will win a £1,000 First Give grant for their chosen charity. The School Final will also be an opportunity for the students, school and wider community to celebrate all the hard work that the students have done over the last few weeks.
