Year 7 Kick Off Athletics Season

Last week the year 7's kicked off the start of our Athletics season with an incredible turn out and efforts for those picked to represent the school. The students competed against a large number of schools within the local area at the Stone X Stadium.

The year 7 team took part in various long and short distance running events as well as throwing and jumping field events. Some of the students had never completed certain events but they were resilient and learnt very quickly new techniques and skills. Both year 7 relay teams won Gold! An incredible achievement for all.
