The Brilliant Club Scholars Programme

Fourteen Year 9 students have taken part in The Brilliant Club Scholars programme from October- January which has helped pupils develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to progress at the most competitive universities.

These students worked with a PhD tutor who delivered weekly tutorials, which enabled them to complete a challenging assignment graded at university level! The title of the study was ‘A Stem Cell Journey: From Lab Bench to Hospital Bed’ delivered by Dr Sara Campinoti, which is pitched at KS5 level.

The students did incredibly well and have shown excellent commitment to the programme. The final results were Four 1st , Five 2:1 and One 2:2. We are so proud of them, and they should be so proud of themselves too: If you see Ela, Marissa, Katerina, Katarina, Christian, Roxy, Julia, Sora, Alicja, Ferdaws, Gayana, Roberio, Sergio and Xavier, please congratulate them!

Their graduation trip will take place on Thursday 29th February at Goldsmith’s University. The day will involve meeting with other schools from across England, a tour of the University campus, interviewing current undergraduates and study skill tips. We look forward to this trip!
