Art | All students should work through their individual task lists which are specific to their projects. Your teacher can provide these for you if you require. You can contact your teacher through MS Teams. You should follow the weekly updates provided by your teacher to know exactly what tasks you should be completing. Any further work required will be uploaded onto the files area of your class within MS Teams. | |||
Business Studies | You will be set work by your teacher via SMHW each lesson. Your teacher will upload the lesson PowerPoint and the relevant worksheets for that lesson for you to complete. Submit your work via SMHW for your teacher to give you feedback. | |||
Computer Science | You will be set work via show my homework related to the lesson. You should also go to MS Teams and access your class notebooks to review the work completed in the lesson. Presentations and content from the lesson will be available on MS Teams in files. Any students without Internet access will be provided with the work in printed form. | |||
Design Technology |

Students should complete work in their workbooks, on plain paper or powerpoint and upload a photo of their work via SMHW for feedback. English Language | Go to this website: https://app.senecalearning.com/classroom/course/df1578de-6327-45fa-9420-1619f20f680e. You will need to set up a free account. Choose either the key terms or language techniques and test yourself. Then make flashcards to help you revise the terms or techniques you did not get right or were not confident on. You can then go through the Paper 1 and 2 sections to revise these sections. Once you feel confident on the paper, you can complete a practice one from Firefly: https://firefly.thecompton.org.uk/english/gcse/practice-papers. | |||
English Literature | Go to this website https://classroom.thenational.academy/subjects-by-key-stage/key-stage-4/subjects/english and complete one of the REVISITING lessons on a SET TEXT for Literature you have already been taught. You will see "Revisiting" written in the top left hand corner of the box. This will help you to revise the content for your Literature papers. Choose from: 'An Inspector Calls', 'A Christmas Carol' and 'Macbeth'. If you have any questions, message your teacher through SMH. Homework will be set as usual through SMH - please complete any tasks that have been set as usual. | |||

Use www.kerboodle.com to access the digital book. Unit 6 - Social Issues (pages 98 - 107). Complete ALL activities on each of the double spreads in the book, starting from where you last finished in class. Using the ‘Resources’ button in the left-hand bottom corner of the screen access the interactive activities and complete them (you can check your answers as you work on each of the activities). Complete all worksheets provided for each double page which can also be accessed via the ‘Resources’ button. Ensure you are studying vocab for each of the double spreads of the book as this needs to be learned off by heart. SUPPORT: Use Languagesonline and/or Seneca to practise any grammar that arises in this chapter, as well as Oak National Academy / Key Stage 4/ French / Global Issues / Lessons 1-3 for help. Revision work on this topic can be found on pages 108 -113 of the book. HW will be set on SMH. |

PE | GCSE PE / Cambridge National Certificate Lessons and resources can be found in their MS Teams class. All resources can be found in: > FILES > "Lesson & Date". You should contact your class class teacher via SMHW to request further instruction if necessary. Class teacher will post all task instructions via SMHW, directing students to MS Teams for the completion of class notes, whilst also setting all homework tasks to be completed and submitted via the "Assignments" function on MS TEAMS. In the event of remote learning for a class, your teacher will notify students of the time and location of the live lesson via SMHW. All lessons will take place via a live or pre-recorded MS TEAMS meeting / presentation. | |||
RE | Go to your classroom area on MS Teams where your class teacher will have uploaded all relevant lesson resources that can be accessed by you at any time outside of school. In order to access these materials, follow the simple steps: Log onto MS teams - Go to your designated classroom - click on files tab - go into the class materials folder - go into the relevant topic folder. In this folder there will lesson PowerPoints as well as other useful resources. Lessons will be labelled and numbered so students can follow through the work. Homework will be set on SMHW as usual - individual teachers will provide a link to MS Teams where you will be able to access the homework and upload your completed work back to MS Teams. If you struggle for any reason, they should direct message teachers via the messaging feature on SMHW or the designated classroom on MS Teams where you will be able to 'share a new post'. | |||

Use your course notes or the last task set on SMHW to decide which topic to learn. Read the info and put the key points on paper. Even though you might not be able to fill the gaps in your course notes, you should be able to complete any question sheets, so have a go. Take the Bitesize quiz and watch the videos if there are any. If you need more help you can also find the lesson on Oak National Academy. Google it then navigate to the same topic. Next, find your e-learning logins on p55 of your planner. Go to educake.co.uk and login. Complete any tests that your teacher has set in the last fortnight in the orange section at the top. If you don't have any due or you finish this, scroll down to the purple menu 'Study and Quiz yourself'. Find the topic you have been learning most recently in class. Click on the arrow and take a test on the topic. Do 15 questions on this topic. Repeat until you score at least 70%. Do the same for another topic of your choice.
