Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements 

A UK Honours degree 2:2 or above, or equivalent overseas degree verified by UK ENIC.

The degree must comprise a minimum 50% of modules in the subject area you wish to train to teach. Where candidates do not have a degree which comprises of at least 50% of modules within the subject you wish to teach, candidates who have an A-level at grade B or above in the subject you wish to teach will be considered. Please email us if you wish to check the suitability of your degree to the course.

Plus Grade 4 (C) or above in English and maths, or equivalent qualification.

Candidates with pending GCSEs will not be considered, equivalency tests will be accepted in English and maths from accredited providers. Further guidance will be provided if you are required to take an equivalency test.

Personal Qualities

Applicants must provide evidence of an interest in working with young people, possess high quality communication skills. Speak fluently, clearly and grammatically. Be able to think analytically and possess personal qualities such as warmth, enthusiasm, self-motivation and resilience.
