British Science Week Competition Winners

The science department is proud to announce successful completion of the British Science Poster and Bayer's Lab Coat Competition as part of British Science Week 2023. The theme for this year's project for Bayern's Lab Coat competition was "It's Alive," and ''Connections'' and rose to the challenge with incredible creativity and imagination. The designs we received were truly mind-blowing! The lab coats were adorned with a variety of vibrant colours, patterns, and graphics that truly represented the "It's Alive" theme. This is also true for the British Science Week poster competition.

The Science department had the difficult task of selecting just two winners for the Lab Coat Competition: Paolo Z 7T and Ermal 7N and just five winners out of the whole school: Grace 7N, Abdurahman 9O, Emma 7N,  Rory 8C and Jessica 10T to represent our school in the national competitions.  With so many outstanding designs, it was not an easy decision. However, after much reflection, we have chosen students whose designs stood out for their originality, attention to detail, and execution. We would like to extend our congratulations to our winners and wish them the very best of luck in the national competitions.

We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate all students who participated in these two competitions. Your creativity and imagination were truly exceptional, and Science department were very impressed with the effort you put into your designs. We hope that this project has sparked your curiosity and passion for science and innovation.
